Give your heads a shake.
That was a loss that rests squarley on the OC'S shoulders. Not much of an overall game plan from what I saw
Let's try this. Gibson to kick next game and Palardy as OC, since it's either or. If I had a choice however who goes first, it would be Palardy. This is too embarrassing.

Maybe, thank goodness, he's been reading the forum:

http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/

Now, they need a game plan that will allow him (Glenn) to finish what he starts.

DREW EDWARDS
THE HAMILTON SPECTATOR
(Jul 26, 2010)
Two factors that contributed to the Ticat loss in Montreal, according to Bellefeuille: Montreal's lack of turnovers and Hamilton's terrible starting field position.
"Last game was the first time in my 30-plus years as a player and coach where the offence had 13 drives and not one was started outside the 35-yard line," Bellefeuille said.
________

Coach: On the last 6 of Duval's 7 FGs YOU CHOSE to start at the 35. Perhaps, one of the league's best kick returners might have got you further up field on an occasion or two, if he'd been returning KOs instead of sitting on the bench.

Yes, I'm sure they were outraged that he only made 42 of 49 FG attempts last year.

And I can only imagine how bitter the champagne must have tasted when he was named top Canadian in the 2008 Grey Cup game.

tom: I have always admired Marcel's desire and determination to win. It's good see read the some of the examples you have provided.
So why do we still look so shaky and un-competitive compared with most of the other teams?
Did he mention anything in the film analysis about play selection?

He did talk ait bout Briefly but it was more about Teaching us
How to use the short passing game in our Offenses
Quick passes to get 4 to 7 yards a crack
The TIcats only a few Running plays in there Offense they run from Different formations.
I could see them expanding the Book to get Thiggy some more Carries.
I still like to see Jesse brought in as Short Yardage FB use the same Formtion as do with cobb and thiggy

I think our Biggest Issues right now is some personal have not work out
Some of play calling was Questionable .. But these are easy things to fix
The CFL Is season is Long one 18 Games

The NFL For Change is trying to do what CFL Has Done for years
18 Games.. Kind nice where ahead of Curve.
After this week.
Our next games are all back to back East Games
1st Winnipeg then Toronto back to back then Montreal at Home
If we can come out of these 3 to 5 Wins where still in it.

You asserted that the Stamps were glad to be rid of him, contrary to the evidence. And it sounds like you think a guy who has played 5 outstanding years immediately becomes a bum for life after a couple of bad games. You clearly don't know what you're talking about.

We do have a definite dilema here at QB.

Glenn is good at reading a defense and reacting to pressure in general. Glenn's lack of arm strength and touch downfield is starting to show and on film defenses are picking up on it. Glenn seems to have picked up tunnel vision because I rarely saw him look off the defense at all, whichever side he looked to is where he threw the ball. This needs to improve. KG underthrew Bruce 3 times against MTL and several times against Calgary he threw balls off target and the play broke down.

Porter has no issues with arm strength, he can make the long throws and the short ones. He tends to get happy feet in the pocket and doesn't yet have the presense in the pocket that KG and other experienced QB's in the CFL have. It will come in time, once he slows down the game in his mind and sees the field better I think he will do well.

The dilema is that neither QB has the complete package this offense and team needs right now, which forces MB into the decision of who gives the better change to win scenario. I hate the who gives the better change to win....This team needs a bonafide unquestionable #1 starter that can perform at the level and with all the skills and tools required. I don't think we have that......and THAT is what will keep this team hovering at 500 give or take.

I feel for Marcel, Porter is not quite ready to do it and Glenn can't quite do everything he used to be able to do anymore....tough situation for a coach.

Sleep deprivation might account for some of his decisions.

Tom: Yeah. But the play calling problems occurred last season too!

It would be good to know if the play calling is all Mike Gibson's doing...or whether Marcel also has a big part in it.

You find most Pro Coaches don't Sleep Much

John Gruden Worked long hours Coming into office at 4 Am was the last to leave.
Some coaches never go home and Sleep in there office.
I am sure his his decisions where damaged by lack of Sleep

I don't want to disparage Bellefeuille's passion for or commitment to the game, but it is worth noting that he has never run a successful offense in the CFL. All his offenses have been mediocre at best (Sask, Montreal, Hamilton).
